Built in 1892 for the Carl Sweeney family, Sweeney Cottage is filled with the echoes of those who have lived, loved, and left their mark here over the years. The home was thoughtfully renovated with a focus on preserving its legacy, while incorporating modern conveniences. This charming 2-bed, 1-bath gem, with its rich history and timeless character, is perfect for up to four guests. The primary bedroom features a queen bed, while a second queen bed is tucked away in a lofted space at the top of the stairs, separated from the primary bedroom by a beautifully preserved original door.
The chic kitchen, equipped with a mint-green Smeg refrigerator and a Bertazzoni Italian stove, is perfect for preparing home-cooked meals. The antique farm table in the dining room is surrounded by vintage décor that tells a story of its own. The bathroom boasts a deep soaking tub and a handheld shower, as well as a stunning brass console sink. The original 1892 entry doors are painted a calming pink in contrast to the original black screen doors.
Relax in the sunlit sitting areas, strum on two Gibson guitars while studying the historic photo wall in the music room, or take in the view from the porch, where you can people-watch and enjoy the charming village atmosphere. The backyard fire pit is ideal for stargazing or gathering around for s’mores after a day of exploring. Highly Recommend
We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary and our daughter’s 22nd birthday in this cozy little cottage, it was such a fun weekend being right next to everything. The spa is just next door which we all enjoyed massages! I highly recommend stopping by Patina just across the street! We all took home treasures we found! The cottage is cozy and has pretty much everything you need in the kitchen, bath, and laundry. I highly recommend staying in this beautiful historic home if you are wanting to stay close to restaurants and entertainment. Despite being so close to the action which was mainly in the daytime, the house was quiet and we all rested good! The host is also awesome and was quick to respond. Also, if you are looking to hire a private chef I recommend Tyler King at Tastify! He made us an amazing dinner in the Sweeney Cottage!

Simply Lovely!
What a lovely getaway! Drove in for a mid-week concert in Nashville and lucked out finding this most precious property, for a couple extra days, just a short drive south. It is as picture perfect as the listing shows, literally steps away from all that Leiper’s Fork has to offer and just a short drive to Franklin and its beautiful downtown. The home is so quaint and beautifully decorated, comfy beds, all the amenities… every door and step and window telling the remarkable story of its history. My favorite part was getting to listen to my son play one of the Gibson guitars while I sat on the porch swing in the evening! Would definitely recommend and visit again!

Perfect Getaway
Sarah is a gem!! And her cottage was the perfect one night getaway for my husband and I. We're local and just needed some time away to reset. The cottage is beautifully decorated in a fantastic location. Walkable and a short drive to Franklin. The sectional is super comfortable we were able to hang out inside and on the porch which was nice. You can walk right out the door and be in the gallery and grab a bite to eat. It's an incredibly warm and inviting space filled with unique details. My only wish is that it would have a king sized bed upstairs that might be a little bit more comfy. One note is the stairs are narrow/steep and there's no bathroom upstairs. It's an extra special Airbnb! I'd happily book again and recommend to friends!

Staying at this cozy cottage in Leiper's Fork was an absolute delight! The place is a hidden gem - beautifully kept, full of charm, and perfectly located in this quiet, artsy little town. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. Sarah was incredible - super responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right throughout our stay. We even had to change our dates several times and she was always warm and understanding. You can really tell they care about creating a special experience. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with small-town charm and a place that feels like a true home away from home, this is it. We can't wait to come back!
